Our old hybrid had one of those tiny oval sinks in it that was barely big enough to wash your hands, and the standard faucet that it came with made it impossible. One of the first mods I did to the trailer was to replace the faucet with a laundry tub faucet, sort of like this one: Aragon 4in. Centerset 2-Handle Laundry Faucet in Chrome. (I forget the exact make and model, but this one is close enough.) This one had enough "reach" so you could actually get your hands under it. Changing it out was literally a matter of unscrewing the old one and screwing the new one in its place. Before we traded the old trailer in, I swapped it back out.

I was worried about it being big enough without setting out too far but since someone here said they had used it, I knew it would work. Because it was single handle, I did have to drill the center-hole and I could tell I needed an adapter to make the hot and cold lines work so since I don't have the terminology for that, I was able to show a Lowe's person what I needed it to attach to the pointing out one there and he was able to tell me what I needed. It was really easy with these threaded attachments to do it and it didn't leak.

Faucet tap handles

I am really enjoying the information found here. Thank you everyone.

We just joined up after picking up our second Jay flight 29QBS. Love the trailer.

Now the beyond warranty stuff begins. Does anyone have experience removing the tap handles for the Bathroom Faucet? This season started with a great set up but when it came time to flush everything out, the cold water tap in the bathroom, still closed, has water running thru it. I figure the tap needs tightening and the rings replace. But for the love of god what tool is used to put the faucet handle on?

As much as I would love to replace this, it need to be removed first. the only "screw" opening found is on the handle it self.

Welcome to the forum.

I can't help with your question. Folks usually replace the whole RV fixture with a residential unit when the bathroom or kitchen faucet(s) have a problem.
