For our short queen, I used some full size jersey sheets from Target. They stretch enough without coming off of the mattress and seem to be staying put. Maybe because there's elastic around the entire fitted sheet. Plus, they are really soft.

We bought luxurious 200 thread count double bed sheets from Wally World for our 27DSRL. The fitted sheet in that size seems to be a good fit to the mattress (even with a mattress pad on it as well).
