Bike Rack 171BH

Looking for a good bike rack for the 171bh.

Please let me know what works best

Bonus if it can hold a lot of bikes. My wife and I have 3 little kids

Do you have a hitch welded on the back or were you going to put them in a rack over the propane tank?

If you don't have a hitch, you will need to find a good shop that can weld it to the frame and reinforce the frame. The bumper will not hold the weight of a bike rack.

Before doing anything, consider your load max is about 1,000 pounds including food, water, propane, battery, clothes, cookware, bedding, tools, chairs, etc. etc. You may not have capacity left for this when you add up hitch, rack, and bikes and other gear which could easily total over 300 lbs.

You need a loaded to go camping weight to see what capacity you have left to use for bikes.

I love cycling buy you may have to put them on the car roof rack and even then your tow vehicle can be over weight.

We travel with a lot of bikes in the same rig.

I opted for BillieBar risers and 1Up flush mounted trays over the bed of the truck. PLUS we also got that goofy over the tongue 1 bike carrier and it actually works pretty well if you can get over how much it moves when in motion.
