Black Tank Flush

Just a quick question. When using the black tank flush, do you need to be using a water psi regulator just as for the regular water hook up? Thanks in advance!
We are on our maiden voyage with our new white hawk and loving it.

I' ve never used a pressure regulator.. The pipe in my trailer for black tank flush is labeled for 100psi, however because the water is exiting and washing the black tank, the pipes arent actually getting fully pressurized.. Curious to see what others have to say...

I never use a pressure regulator. Like Skaling says, the nozzle is open in the tank so pipes don't see the full pressure.

Makes sense, not seeing full pressure.

I don't use a regulator on my flush line either, just on the FW city connection. I want as much oomph as I can get in that flush line.

Same here. No regulator on the flush system.

Either way. The water supply I use comes thru the regulator but if it was not, it is no biggie as long as its running.

I use as pressure regulator for "city water" hook up but not for black tank flush.
The CGs I use are kind enough to have a hose to hook to the black tank flush.
