Brand New X17 owners need tips

Hi all, me and my wife just purchased a 2015 x17z. We pick it up on Monday the 17th. Any tips for during the walk through and things we will need or add to it would be much appreciated. We are brand new to TT and any advice would be awesome.

If possible video tape the PDI or at least parts of it. Make notes. If you are uncomfortable with anything that's the time to ask, especially if it's something on the trailer that doesn't look right. Any good dealer will make it right on the spot. Good dealers will also leave the door open to call with questions about things you still don't understand.

After you take it home, do a two night weekend at some RV park within an hour or so of home. You'll get a chance to test everything out in the "real world of RVing" and you'll come up with a good "needs and wants" list.

Congratulations! and welcome to the forum. We have a '14 x17z and enjoying it. Good advice from Doc plus don't forget to use the 'Search' feature at the top of the page. You will get lots of threads from previous discussions on the 17z.
