Can I paint the cabinets?

We signed on our new Jayco jay flight 154bh today, and I love the floor plan but really, really hate the decor. Covering the upholstery is no problem, but I know I'm not allowed to paint the walls without voiding the warranty.

Does anyone know if I can paint the cabinets without voiding the warranty? Lightening them would make a world of difference!

I don't it would void the warranty, but "e" mail JAYCO and ask them directly. Then you have it in writing if they say OK.

Use the contact form on the web-site.

I have thought about a similar thing, I want to replace the pendants for chandeliers. I can't see why these little changes would void the warranty because it's just the esthetics of the coach. JMO..

Painting walls voids the warranty? Really? Well, I guess I just voided my new unit I just purchased. [emoji17]

Where does it say that?

Cosmetic things shouldn't have any implication on the warranty of the coach, but maybe I'm wrong with our North Point.

Curious as to which primer and paint you used. Painting any laminate can be a disaster IF not done correctly. Yours turned out fantastic.

We used Glidden Gripper for primer, then Sherwin Williams ProClassic for the cabinet paint and SW Emerald for the wall paint.

All painted surfaces got the primer first. Some two coats of each but it looks great. We didn't take all the doors off, we just didn't have the time, but we're happy with how it all turned out.
