Can Mtn. Bikes be loaded into a x19h

Can two mountain bikes be loaded into a x19h without destroying the cooktop or cabinetry? The position of the door make it look more challenging than doing the same thing in the x17.

If not, can we use the tongue bike rack with our TV and double propane tanks?

We prefer not racking them on top of our Acura MDX . . .

The end of TT racks have been pretty much dissed in these forrums.

What are other x19h owners doing with bikes. Thanks.

I put 2 adult plus 2 kids MTBs in our 2008. I used a tarp to protect the cabinets and sofa.

I put them right at the front, leaning them on the sofa.

I actually miss having that large aisle for this purpose!

The x19h door is at the back so we would need to thread the bikes between the bathroom and the leading edge of cabinets/stove.

Both the x19h and the x17Z appear to have the tightest configuration (by far) of all the ultra lite hybrids for trying this maneuver.

We were thinking that if we removed their front wheels, we should be able to wriggle them around the near door cabinetry.

I didn't try removing the wheels but that might help too. I would stand the bike up as I manoeuvred between the bathroom wall and stove.

My bike is pretty big so it was the trickiest but once I figured it out it was fine. It helped to have someone hand you the bike thru the door, so you can focus on guiding it through.

You could always throw a tarp over the stove/cabinet while you load up, in case you bump into it.

Anyways, it's very possible to carry 2 MTBs in the 19H. [emoji1]

Thanks so much for your response, as it is very helpful. My husband (aka the big guy) is 6'4" and his bike, too, is big. But I can now see that this is going to work. These puppies are going inside.
