Charging battery

This is probably a dumb question.

My trailer is parked under my shed right now, and I have a battery charger connected to it, set on maintenance, just a trickle charge. There is a 30 or 40 amp fuse on the line going into the trailer electrical circuit that I have removed while the charger is on.

Here is my question. I need to use the water pump to winterize the plumbing. Can i leave the charger connected when I replace the inline fuse?

I don't see why not, you are just giving the battery a small trickle charge. If you want to be safe just unhook the charger, replace the fuse, hook the charger back up.

I thought so. I reckon I'm just looking for some moral support. I've had the trailer less than a year, moved up from a Jayco popup.

Thank you.
