Question coat rack / hooks X119H

Hello, we've enjoyed our June purchased 2014 X119H Ultralight hybrid this summer. Just inside the door, on the wall straight ahead, I'd like to hang a wooden rack or board of coat hooks. Worried about thickness of wall...the bathroom wall is right behind. How long could the screws be to not protrude on the bathroom wall side, and to keep the coat rack up? Or do I need to do those command hooks? What has worked best for you? Thank you.
P.S. How do I 'search' the threads? I went through just 4 pages of topics.

We went for the large stick on command hooks from the local hardware. Easy to put up and can be readily removed and relocated.
