DANGEROUS Magnetic Latch

Just want folks to know that the magnetic latch that holds the door to the outside kitchen on our 23 MRB is not strong enough. My wife was standing under the door when a small wind gust (< 15 mph) knocked loose. The door hit her directly on the top of her head and knocked her down! She is ok but I have used a bungee since to be sure. I will have our dealer install a regular mechanical latch next time we are in the shop. I have also alerted Jayco to the issue.

Please let us know what Jayco has to say about it. We have the same model. Fortunately we haven't hit any serious winds yet.

Hmmm..wonder if my wife would like that layout?

We love the layout. It's reasonably spacious inside because of the Murphy bed. Only downside is that the TV is miniature.
