Do U keep your TT plugged in at home?

I grew up there in the Carson City, and Dayton area. My father still lives in Dayton. He keeps a solar panel connected to his trailer during storage to keep the batteries topped off. He and I both keep a few newspapers rolled up in the refer and freezer but keep the doors closed. The newspapers keep the mildew and smell down and keeping the doors closed keeps any mice who might find their way in during the winter out.
I used to keep my trailer plugged in at home all the time since I did not have a solar panel. Now that I live in Alaska; once its winterized, I remove the batteries and store them inside the garage on a shelf (we have heated garages).
If you want a really good RV specialist who is down to earth and wont mess you around, go to Ed's RV repair in Moundhouse. (he may seem a bit standoffish at first, but just keep being frank with him) He will tell you like it is and he will help you with absolutely anything. Also he will beat any of the dealerships around. He can be very busy at times, but both my father and I have taken out trailers in to him to have work done and since he was really busy, he took us around out rigs and showed/told us how to maintenance and/or repair whatever it was. Back when I lived there in Carson City, I had a mishap with my fifth wheel and tore a big hole in my black water tank, and tore off my back stabilizer jacks. He told/showed me how to repair the tank myself and save $$ as well as how to put on better stabilizers and how to give my 5er a suspension lift. I know I rambled a bit long but I hope it helps.

We have it in a cover storage area, plugged in to keep batteries up. fFrig. door open via the prop open latch. Will begin frig cool down a day before trip.

Plugged in but only run the fridge during camping season. The spot where we park it is across the yard from the fridge so I don't bother going back and forth with condiments that would otherwise keep.

RV sales guy recommended cycling the power to the batter (1 week off, 2 weeks on) to keep it charging. I don't do that because I likely won't remember to plug it in again.

Ours is kept plugged in at home with fridge off and doors kept open with the little latches. It sits like taht all summer since we usually only use the trailer for 5 months over the winter.

We have ours parked beside our house and leave it plugged in. I always prop the fridge open to guard against mold. I like to have it plugged in for company and to just hang out in it sometimes. Plus our little dogs love it too!

We leave ours plugged in; fridge is closed, but never thought about a mold problem, so will keep an eye on that. Now and then we go out and have "wine and cheese thirty" in the trailer, but mostly keep the slide out in, so as we can get the other cars by it on the driveway.

I keep ours plugged in. I keep the fridge off with the doors open until a few days before our next trip, when I start it up.

I also keep the AC set at 85 or so just to keep it dehumidifier. Summers here can turn the inside of a sealed RV into something like a pool.

We are one of the lucky ones that can park the TT next to the house. No need to plug it in as the SOLAR takes care of the TT's electrical needs.... just check the battery water level now and then.
