Do you wax your JayFeater?

If you wax you JayFeather what do you use? What's easiest/best.

Sure do. Twice a year. I use mcquires cleaner wax. Usually takes me 2 or 3 days to complete. Uggg lol

I have always washed the roof with Dawn dish detergent. Before waxing tho because the dawn will remove the wax.

I use a mild car wash detergent twice yearly for the roof. I also wax the sides twice yearly but not at the same time. I hate waxing so I do part of it and take several attempts to get it done. I use a good car wax - right now Meguiars. I do NOT wax the rubber roof.

I wax over the decals also. Most auto waxes also inhibit UV rays, so I think it would reduce fading. Besides, that'd be a lot of work to avoid the decals.

I don't have a Jay Feather, but I wash and wax my Skylark 1-2 times per season with Dometic RV Wash N' Wax. It helps get off the bug splatters and helps make getting the road grime off after a trip.

Our trailer is stored inside so I don't wax it except the front cap where it oxidize and I used rubbing compound and Turtle cause that is what I have. I wash it when we return for camping or a trip. I use a Zap on the sides and roof.

I use Palmolive on roof . And yes wax the trailer with a good fiberglass wax. Then I always wash with a good wah and wax

I am lazy, as I hate waxing, so I us Mcguires car wash with a wax. I typically wash the HTT every few trips, so it does a good job beading up, and keeps it looking good.

I typically just do it once a year with whatever I have in the garage. Nu-Finish works great for bringing back some shine to dull surfaces Ive found. I hand wax/buff it just due to its only a 16' but any longer Id have to buy a elect. buffer.
