Entry door not able to open all the way.

I'm looking at a new 2021 Jayco trailer and notice that on some models the entry door is limited by a gas strut at the bottom of the door. I understand it is because of the awning arm beside it.

Is there a work around to get around this issue?

I found a floor plan I love but hate the door issue.

Does it look like it will interfere with the awning? If it's a deal breaker, take off the strut and be careful when you open the door.
