Fresh water tank hose question?

I was looking at my fresh water tank and noticed this clear hose
going nowhere. Curious what its for and does the black valve
let water pass through but not down clear hose.I drew red arrows to show where it comes from the tank and the end of the clear hose just ending nowhere. does it need to get plugged in some where or does it have a use as it is.
Camping now but not using water its still winterized.

Furnace works to good in this thing and having fun camping in November. Thanks for any replies.

Please add your make, model and year to get the best help.

Could that be the winterizing hose that sucks pink into the pump to distribute around the camper. Mine has an intake very close to the pump and has its own diverting valve.

Have you check your owners manual under "winterize"?

Looks like your winterizing hose. Looks to have some pink RV winterizing fluid in it also..

Yep, looks like the winterizing tube. Near the pump you have a black, valve handle, that is a three way valve, turn it one way, you'll suck water from the tank, turn it the other way, you'll suck through the winterizing tube.
