Good News/Bad News/Good News?

Got a call from the dealer this afternoon...

Good News: TT is here
Bad news: It's damaged and they won't accept delivery
Good News: They've ordered a new one, it will be a 2015, it's due off the line on 4/28, and our price remains the same

Not what we wanted to hear, but nothing we can do about it, and we're certainly not going to accept a damaged trailer.

Good news is hopefully the 2015 up-grades will be to your liking

Considering how long you've waited thus far....a few more weeks might just go by fast!

That's tough news, sorry to hear. I've learned the 2015 changes can be a little more than cosmetic so take time to verify specific details on how your trailer will be equipped.

That list covers the Feather line but not the Eagle. Dealers have preliminary but pretty specific lists of model year changes. One that I know of is a change from the tri-fold Denver mattress sofa sleeper to a reclining sofa that is not a sleeper.

My mistake. My interest is in hybrids and I thought I was in that forum. I didn't notice that I somehow got crossed over onto the ultralight forum.

DW found pictures of the 2015 today and we LOVE it! Major changes match what the dealer mentioned:
Exterior: lighter color on the front cap, slightly different graphics, black vent covers and awning frame
Interior: skylight in the kitchen, vinyl flooring now looks like wood, lighter wall color, kitchen backsplash now looks like brick

There are several other minor changes too, but again, we love it.

One odd change is that a tri-fold hide a bed may not be the standard. Our 5th wheel came with 2015 furniture, back splash, floor & graphics. The hide a bed in 2014 became a recliner sofa in 2015 with an air mattress in a bag for sleeping. While it looks nice, the recliner sofa isn't comfortable and an air mattress to toss on the floor for guests is unacceptable to us
