good roof cleaned/conditioner suggestions?

open to suggestions on a reccomended rubber roof cleaner/conditioner that you have used and pleased with the results. We just got out pre-owned TT a few months back and have know idea when the roof was last cleaned so thats something I want to get a ahead of before any leaks happen. Also Im still a bit worrysome about standing/climbing on my roof. does anyone know its construction (plywood/truss etc) and ok to do so? Thanks!!!

I've used Simple Green cleaner on the roof and awning and so far, great results.

Does it have a ladder? Usually an indication that it is safe to be on the roof. May want to read your manual to make sure.

I have a 17Z without a ladder. The tech at the dealership told me it was fine for me to walk on the roof. That they do it all the time. I have tried several rubber roof cleaners and conditioners and like Protect All for cleaning and treating my roof.

got up there today and found the roof to be very solid (no plywood needed to scoot around on) and took off the AC cover to clean and inspect then scrubbed down the roof with a mix of auto wash/simple green. huge difference and it was white under that grime. gonna pick up some protectant at CW to treat it next week.

Don't know if you got the protectant yet, but being lazy I use the Thetford cleaner and conditioner. One step and it works well for me.

Yea, I was eye balling that exact product and going to pick up the spray bottle version. Oh, after I cleaned the roof I decided to wash then HAND WAX the TT yesterday. Thats the first and last time I do that (at least without a buffer). My elbows are killing me but she is looking pretty darn good I must say

I have not been treating the roof but do get up on it and clean it 3-4 times a year. After reading the care instructions by the manufacturer I went with the reccomended Spic and Span and have to say it probaly worked the best yet.

I also hand waxed mine, but over 4 days time. 1.5 hrs each day over a week I feel goes a long way vs the whole thing in one shot. Try a different wax if it's fighting you too much. Nu Finish has been working well for me.
