We have a 2013 Jay Feather Ultra Lite 221, we like it very much. The only thing to look out for is the floor, some of these had very weak floors, they had to Completely replace the floor in ours. Another thing is, this trailer can not carry very much extra weight, only 860 lbs or so.

We purchased a 2013 model 221 about 2 weeks ago and pulled it to our storage place. Will take it out for the first time this weekend.
Hitch Pin - how did you notice the floor problem and what was the fix?
We initially didn't see the need for a weight distribution hitch. Pulling with a 2013 Tahoe.

We have had a 2011 211 for a couple of years now, and have had absolutely no problems with it. It's a very nice unit.

Thanks for your input. I contacted Jayco Customer Service and they gave me this response about the floors:

Thank you for the inquiry. It is not a common occurrence to hear of floor issues with the 221 Jay feather product or any other Jayco products for that matter. So to answer your question we do not have an issue with the floors on these models. We build a lot of these campers and sometimes things can go wrong and that is why we have a 2 year warranty. Follow the proper maintenance schedule on your trailer and you should not have any issues. If you have a concern at any time please contact your local Jayco dealer for an inspection. Have a good day.

It appears not to be a widespread problem.
