Hummingbird Problem

We have a 2017 Hummingbird 17RB with a major problem. When you plug and fill the bathroom sink and then empty it..... it flows into the shower base and then drains I think it’s due to the sudden surge of water
This has been a problem since purchase and the dealer serviced it twice and tells me it’s ok.
Were camping now and it happened again this AM and got everything stored in the area totally wet.....wife NOT happy.
Anyone have a similar problem or a suggestion for a remedy
Thanks

Sounds like the problem is the shower drain. It may be partially obstructed forcing the sink water up into the shower. You might try pushing a wire coat hanger down the shower drain and see if you hit something. If there is something hard, there is an access hole with a cover on the front of the shower pan. Just remove the two screws and take a look at the drain. If the drain needs to come off, it’s probably time to go back to the dealer. Good luck, let’s us know what you find.

I would run a fish tape down the sink drain, remove the trap under the sink then its more of a straight shot, see how far you can push it. You may have to do the same on the shower but with the trap in place you may have to spin the tape to get it through the trap.

The trap connections under the sink are likely loose. Reach under the sink skirt and see if you can hand tighten the trap threaded connections.
