I need some education on my Furrion 8 cu Refrigerator

So I’ve only camped once with my new Micro 199 mbs.On that occasion even while on shore power, during the night something brought the battery down to the mid 11’s.

I know this Frig can run on 12 v. But does it ONLY run on 12 v? I assumed that when connected to 30 amp shore power it would switch over to the shore power and not run on the 12v? Could that be the culprit that drained the battery at night w/o solar? It was a hot day in central Florida ( mid 90’s) and the Frig never got below 44-45.

On a more positive note, I get to take the grandkids to Ft. Wilderness this weekend which is another reason to figure out the frig.
Thanks, Larry

If you have the optional 8 cu.ft. fridge, it only runs on 12 volts. The 6 cu. ft. model is propane. 120 volts, and no 12 volt choice.

With 30A shore power your converter should keep your 12v fridge running and battery fully charged. Check your converter for proper output, may be tripped breaker, blown fuse.

Thank you. Hopefully it’s that simple.

Yes, breaker had been tripped.
Everything appears in order now.
Thanks again. This is our first RV(TT) so a lot to learn. Our demo/walk thru was overwhelming. They pointed to where the breakers were but no explanation about anything else. I think if we had any experience with an RV, the demo would have been adequate, but two novices starting out in their 70’s, it wasn’t enough. I need to find me a local class on RV maintenance asap. Meanwhile this Jayco owners forum has been amazingly helpful and saved our bacon a few times already. Thanks to all.

Larry, glad you fixed this issue and it was simple. Wanted to suggest another and possibly better option for some training and that is YouTube! You can pretty much put in specific details such as make/model etc and find videos that would show your specific item vs some generalized training in a RV class.
