J-Bird Ready for Christmas Flight

We got a new runner to go across the dinette carpet (American made in GA). We want to keep the carpet nice for the long haul. We also got a cool collapsible ottoman that matches the sofa and dinette cushions. We did a stout reinstall of the t.v. (not so great as dealer prepped). We also ordered a bird themed napkin holder and toilet paper holder. We are liking the bird theme for our Feather! My brother and SNL gifted us an Amish fireplace space heater that we are excited to tryout. Next, we are zeroing in on a nice wood letter & key holder for the entry wall. We want it for our phones and keys. It would be classy for Jayco to either option or make standard a nice wood holder, even have their logo monogrammed on it. I think Northwoods Manufacturing (Arctic Fox, Nash . . .) and Lance may have something like this (?).

DW cleaned inside, using her new Bissell Bolt collapsible vacuum. It fit beautifully under the dinette - She loves it. I think she's vacuumed four times in the last two weeks, and we are not even using the camper. We installed the BAL Lock-Arm stabilizers on Sunday. Friday I will get propane, and we will be ready to roll to FL next week! We are really loving our J-Bird!

To me, getting ready for the big trip is almost half the fun of the trip itself. Enjoy your Florida Christmas...its for sure you will be warmer there than staying at your home base this year.

Yes, we are actually going to get some mid 70's if the forecast holds.

We had a blast. The weather was insanely divine, mid to upper 70's all week! The Jay Feather was pretty much flawless, save a very cheap t.v. antenna and its lame operational mechanism. It is time to research an antenna upgrade.
