Jay Feather Micro Steps

Hey everyone! Currently am looking to downsize and came across the Jay Feather Micro line. Looking at the 166FBS or maybe a larger model in the line.

All looks great except the steps - currently have the old style steps on my current trailer that fold out from under the trailer, and while they aren’t the most stable I suppose, I can’t say it’s ever been an issue. Does anyone know if the Morryde steps can be replaced? Any steps that store outside the trailer would be preferable but something like the Lippert Alumi-Tread would be perfect. Thanks!

I can't answer your post, but I don't care for the morryde steps installed on my 5er either! Only good thing is they are stable, but from every other aspect they are a PITA. I'd prefer the exterior folding steps but there's not enough room underneath on my 5er to install them.

From what I have seen and experienced with other trailers there are always various pros and cons about everything, including the steps. Our friends dream about our steps however theirs seem more simplistic, just not sturdy/confidence inspiring. Personally I dont like how bulky these are and that at least on the 166 they are somewhat custom due to the narrowness of the door and the wheel well. I wish they had these in a size that would fit. https://www.morryde.com/products/fli...rv-entry-step/

I dont believe there is enough space below to put anything, maybe, and its a big maybe the Airstream steps might fit.
