And therein lies the answer.

Of course the floor can support an extra 20 lbs. of toilet! If the floor and a plastic toilet can support a 300lb man sitting on it for any length of time without the floor collapsing, a few extra pounds of fired clay ain't gonna make a whit of difference.

OK guys here is something to think about.. Do you sit on the toilet? Do you stand in front of the toilet? .. I am sure you weigh much more than the toilet.. Also the difference in weight is not that much... between plastic and porcelain 9.5 lbs vs 11 lbs.

It doesn't seem the weight would be the issue but matching the water and dump lines.

I have the porcelain but what I really wish I had is another few inches of space on either side. A 38" waist doesn't fit when removing waste.
