Jayco Hummingbird mods

Got our 17RK in June and really enjoying it. Here's some of the mods we've done so far.

PI hardwired EMS

We also have MaxxAir covers on our bath ceiling fan and kitchen ceiling vent,
battery operated recirculating fan & thermometer in fridge, indoor/outdoor thermometer.
Digital thermostat for furnace will be next.

Thanks. Coming from the Hummingbird mod master that means alot. EMS install went pretty smooth thanks to the pic of yours. Pretty tight space to work in though.

Yeah after looking at your picture I decide to put about a foot of black, white & green #10 stranded wire and six red wire nuts in the tool box in case we're ever camping and have to jumper past the EMS due to a failure. I can't remember for sure, but don't think there's much slack in the main power wire.

The EMS has a bypass mode, but I was reading where someone had theirs fail and it wouldn't go into bypass mode so they had to physically wire around it in order to continue their camping trip.

Great tip, always have to be prepared just in case.

OK, this one is for you skids, thought you'd appreciate it. Years ago DW made a set of bags for our WDH bars and one for our sway control bar.
