Jayco Jayflight 145RB

Hi..I recently purchased a new 2018 SLX145RB Baja a month ago. Just returned from a 5-day trip to St George, UT...about 1000 miles. This trailer tows well in all kinds of adverse and windy conditions. It has a Husky brake pad sway control that Sierra RV in Reno, NV included in the sale. I encountered rainy, windy, and rough road conditions, on the Extra Terrestrial Hiway and beyond, towing it with my 20-year old 99 F250 4X4 7.3 diesel. The only thing that happened were 2 screws came off the knobs on the vents. A little Loctite and a screwdriver fixed that. So far, very pleased with this unit! The only thing wrong that I have found that the warranty will take care of is that the door lock deadbolt won't work with the key.

Congrats on your 145RB Baja. We have a 2013 145RB (non Baja) that has treated us well. Last year we put a lift kit on it which raised it's height by 4". We should have done it when we bought it. No longer worries about bottoming out

congratulations on your 145rb , we love ours also. fits in virtually any campsite and is easily moved once unhitched from tow vehicle (we have a wheel on the front of ours) we have a few solar panels on ours and have done a few other small modifications. absolutely love towing it ! camped the first night at the rv dealer in Missoula montana. our second trip was just outside Yellowstone park. the 3rd picture is of the sticker on the tire, must have gotten transported up to montana.

Thanks! So far, so good! Installed an airfoil on the back of my camper shell that I found on ebay. It is adjustable..will see if it helps improve mileage when towing a bit...will keep you posted, and will take a pic or 2 when hooked up! Made by a company called NUDO.

Airfoil

This is with the airfoil on the camper shell...going up to Pyramid Lake and Gerlach. Will see if it helps wind resistance and fuel mileage!

You don't want to hear my bets on the success of that thing, but I wish you the best outcome!

Went to Black Rock Desert.....seemed to tow better in the wind..averaged 13 mph with the 7.3 diesel. Any truth to the Dodge Cummins owners claiming 20 mpg when towing? The best I get without towing is 18 mpg..sounds like an urban legend!
