Jayco micro mudflaps
Has anyone built or bought mudflaps for their micro?
My 171bh gets mud all down the sides when I'm on wet roads due to the tires sticking out. I'm also concerned the aggressive treads on the tires will chip the sides eventually from rocks getting thrown from the tires.

It is on my to-do list (which is actually getting shorter!). I've seen a couple of postings about it, and in both cases it was a very easy job, just cutting to fit then bolting to the rear of the fenders. I still haven't washed off the red dirt from my last outing.

Not the same TT. I was going to this but never did. My plan was to cut some angle iron or square stock, and mount the stock to the underbelly area, and extend behind the wheel. As for a flap, I was considering cutting down a semi truck flap to fit.

The Micros have major fenders, making the install very easy. Not willing to post images from another forum, but the ones used were these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0009N30IW
Cut off to make a square, then bolted to the fender. I don't know if the one I saw had any backing for the bolts, but I will put a metal strip there when I do it.

I have built and installed “mud flaps” on my 171BH. I bought the cheapest rubber floor mats I could find, from Walmart, that came closest to the measurements of the fenders (width).
I then cut them in half so they each look exactly the same, meet the drop length I thought was appropriate, used sheet metal screws to drive through the mats & fender (drove screws through fender/mat toward tire). I then put a dab of silicone on the protruding ends, after cutting the sharp points off with a hack saw. This way I won’t cut my hands if I need to change a tire.
I then did a 1500 mile trip. They stayed on and provided great protection vs gravel, mud etc as needed. My trailer is in storage. When I get over to it, I’ll take pics to post.
They actually look good, i.e. you don’t notice them.

Mud Flaps 171BH
I bought the cheapest set of rubber floor mats I could find & cut them to fit.
Just finished a 300 mile off-road trip and they are still hanging in there!

Made my own, cut down 2 large truck mud flaps and some angle iron and nuts and bolts.

Great looking mud flaps….BUT….I’m more interested in what you covered your steps with. They look great!
I can’t seem to get a combo that fits tight, won’t slide, etc.
Throw me a bone!

They are Prest-O-Fit Step Rug Set for 2nd Gen MORryde StepAbove RV Steps from etrailer.com. They make them for pretty much every StepAbove. I don't know what you have, but the 166 has steps 17-1/2 inch wide, while I think the 199 and 171 have the 19-1/2 inch wide (or maybe wider), so be sure to measure what you have. You may note that my bottom step is not covered. I replaced the 2-step for a 3-step, and the 2-step covers fit the top and either of the other steps. I couldn't find anyone with a single cover of that type, so I have another 2-step cover coming which will leave me with an extra wide one unused.
As they come, they have velcro strips that attach to the bottom front and back, then 4 springs that are underneath to pull them together. When I put these on the 3-step I did not stick on a piece of velcro, and so far it seems they are fine without it. Easy enough to put pieces on later if it appears necessary.
