Jayco to dealer shipping

Anyone know how long it takes for a unit to be transported from Jayco to the dealer? Dealer says our new unit was delivered to the shipper on April 7th and it still hasn't arrived at the dealer yet.

It depends on a number of factors. The weather and workload are 2 that come to mind.

My Mom and Dad do this for a living. Once they get a unit hooked up, they get it to wherever they are going pretty darn quick, like 1 day to the east coast (from indiana) or 2 to the west coast and part of Canada.

However who knows how long one sits in the lot before they are dispatched to pick it up.

I still haul rvs as well. I've personally seen new units sitting in storage yards for months. Just because it's at the shipper does not mean it's made it to the top of the priority list yet. I agree with apr1967 though, once a transporter has it it would be to you within 2-3 days most likely.

Go figure, ask a question and get a call a couple of hours later informing us our camper has arrived! Thanks for the info.
