Jayfeather. Poop never drops down into the black water tank. It gets hung

30' 2008 jayfeather toilet always clogs about a foot below the floor. Not a complete clog as water will go around the pile of poop you see but the poop will still sit there?

My tank has some water in it but maybe not enough I'm not sure.

I shine a flashlight down my toilet and often see poop sitting on this black plastic.

I think that that is a flap but maybe it's the bottom of the black water tank?

I'm not sure how the plumbing works on the jayfeather septic system?

In order to clean the pile of poo that I see I normally get a hose from outside aND wash the poo off the black plastic horizontal surface.

I also have 26' 2004 outback and I never have any septic system problems.

It's a smelly problem right now

Do you have a clog or "poop pyramid"?

More water with each flush. Allow the bowl to fill 1/2 way before opening the dump valve when flushing solids.

Dumping the black tank will go much better when things are thinned out.

Try Ex-lax chocolate for desert to loosen the stuff up so it doesn't clump in one place. You know, goes with the flow! Sorry, I couldn't help myself.

It sounds like you're looking at the tank bottom. Maybe start out with more water in the tank to keep things moving, and longer flushes.

Poop pyramid

You're right. It's 100% not a clog it's a poop pyramid.

Well maybe it's the bottom of the tank but it looked like a baffle, cause now that I think about it... I have a lot of water in my tank and I still see the poop pyramid.

How wide deep is an rv black water tank typically.

Filling up the bowl with water before the flush is a great idea.

I don't think where the poop pyramid is sitting is the bottom of the tank.

Does anyone know how the plumbing works for toilet to tank.

Does the toilet dump directly into a open tank?
