Low water drain valve disappears!

The Low Water Drain on my 197 (2102) got knocked off on my last trip. It sticks out just ahead of the front tire with no protection whatsoever. I will get another valve and add a bit of a deflector next Spring. Luckily, it must have went bye-bye on my way home!

I don't know what other JAYCO's might have under there, but it might be worth a look. I did do a bit of gravel road touring last trip.

The stock valve is also a pretty cheap plastic that will crack over time as well. When mine broke I replace it with a metal gate valve from home depot and just rigged it into the same little mount.

I bought two on Saturday at a RV joint. They were only $2.99 ea. I'll need to make some kind of deflector around it, though, or it will happen again for sure.

My rig has a metal deflector that provides some protection from road debris. Now a blown tire might take it out.
