Moving White Hawk in cold weather

This will sound strange because I know there are a lot of fiberglass vehicle out there that move about in the winter; however, I am new to camping and have a 28dsbh White Hawk that is of course fiberglass. Should I do anything or be aware of anything when I move it from point A to point B?

Thanks. Happy New Year. This is a great forum for me, the new RV'er.

Welcome!

You should be fine.

I delivered lots of Jayco trailers in the winter. Nothing was ever said (other than be careful) about anything special I needed to do while moving them because of the temperature. The factory had done whatever was needed for winterization, of course.

The very first delivery I made for Jayco was from IN to WI in January. The unit was covered with ice when I delivered it! We had a hard time reading the unit number through the frozen slush.

You might be cautious with the stabilizer jacks, however. It might be possible to twist the trailer. That might cause a problem where different panels join, but that is just a guess, not based on anything I've heard or experienced.

BTW, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I have taken my trailer out at -40 with no problems from the fiberglass... just don't be pounding your fist on the sidewalls.

BTW, at -40, no need to convert between degrees C & F.
