Mystery Water Leak

Wondering if anyone else has had this problem? I have a 2013 30DSRE, this model has the island with sink. Occasionally there's a puddle of water on the floor under the island. It's enough to seep out from under the island near the dining table. Doesn't happen often and there's no rhyme or reason to it. I can never determine exactly where the water is leaking from. The electric water pump us in that area, but I've never used it. Could it leak if there's no water in the fresh water tank and the pump's not used?

Thanks for any comments.

Sounds like a loose connections at one of the fittings. I would tighten them all. Water temp can play a role on sealing, when cold it leaks and warmer seals off. Your onboard pump is tied in to your water lines and uses a check valve in the pump to stop water from going into your fresh water tank. I would access the pump and check for leaks in that area also. Being a 2013 you will be under warranty if something major. I would try and take care of any loose fitting myself instead of hauling it in for something so small. If you can not find the problem or don't feel you can fix problem then take it in. You definitely don't want any further problems. Good luck and i hope i explained it well enough.

I had a similar issue with our bathroom. I tightened the facets fittings but still had occasional leaks. After awhile I got tired of the leaks, so I placed a little toilet in a few spots (wrapped it around the pipes in a few places) as it would show where the water was coming from. I also took photos of the leaks, to show the dealer. We found it to be coming from the sewer pipe. It visually looked to be glued, but it must have had a bad glue joint. It only leaked once in a while and could never figure out when it would leak.

Since you say there is a sink there along with the previously mentioned faucets and fittings, check the compression fittings on the sink drain pipe and ptrap. Mine leaked under the kitchen sink until I fixed it.

Before I towed mine out to the campground I did check and tightened all the plumbing fittings in my 28BHBE, it doesn't take much time and you know everything is tight

Ours is a different model but the removable section of under-sink pipe for the filter leaked. It's a threaded fitting and a little tightening solved that one. Jag has a good idea of wrapping the joints with a little TP to spot which joint(s) are the culprit.
