New X213 Owner, couple questions

Hey all, first time poster here, and also new owner of a used, 2016 X213. I have a couple questions.

Seems like this trailer had in the past WDH, but assume that it was removed sometime in it's previous life by the previous owner. It also seems like the TT barely traveled, as the tires seems like they are almost new.

That being said, some questions:
1. What is the best WDH for the X213?
2. What is the average hitch weight on the X213, seems like it's between 550-675lbs?
3. Does anyone have the frame size (2016 X213), where to install the WDH?

I may have more questions that will come up in the near future!

Your gvwr is 5500 pounds, tongue weight needs to be between 10 and 15 percent. Ideally 13+%. For your calculations use 15%, 825 lbs.

As for a wdh, there are lots of options. Make sure it has an integrated sway control. I'm using an Equalizer e4. I really like it, but it is heavy.

Check the DOT date code on the tires they probably need to be replaced if they are original. RVs go by age most of the time because RVs don't get used a lot unless they are full time. Also get TPMS for the trailer

Thanks all for the info. I'll be changing the tires for sure seeing they are over 7yrs old and barely ran, cheap insurance to avoid a blow-out when going camping!

As for the rest, I'm still looking for the info.

I use a Pro Series 10,000 lb WDH on my X213. It was installed by the dealer when I bought it new in 2012. I pull mine with a 1/2 ton Dodge Ram…I was told the tongue weight was 475 lbs but I am sure it is 600 lbs plus.

Sell your old tires on Craigs list. I sold mine for $30.00 each and i had plenty of calls.
