Newbie heating question

I have owned a 2018 Jayco Hummingbird 17RB for about 2 mos. I can't figure out how to turn the furnace on. Help

Assuming you have the cheap analog thermometer.

There is a small on/off switch in one corner. It is common the switch is really hard to flip.

I broke my thermostat years ago, and now have a digital.

Switch at top right of thermostat, switch it to the right for the on position, it's pretty tough to move and almost feels like you're going to break it but it's ok, slide the temperature selection lever at the bottom to the temperature you want. Make sure the propane is on and that you have battery power to run the fan or it won't ignite.

Owners manual is also your friend!

Thank you. Wasn't sure that was the switch. I got physical with it and turn it on. Manuel wasn't much help. Thunk I'll replace thermostat with digital model. Thanks again.

My 195RB had a black thermostat. The on/off switch was along the top on the right hand side. You have to push pretty hard on that tab to move it left to the on position. You feel like it might break something when you do it, like your finger tip! Also, you will want to purge the air out of the line first by turning on the stove, etc.

I replaced the T-stat in our 'bird' with this digital one. https://www.amazon.com/Honeywell-TH1...2220374&sr=8-1 Took about 5 minutes to install and works much better.
