No Hot Water - Help!

New to RV-ing with a brand new 2021 174BH. On second trip out, no hot water. We were plugged in and electric water heater light was on. On city water, water running fine to all faucets. No hot water. Tried switching over to gas. No joy. Anyone else run in to this? Solutions? Thanks in advance.

If you plugged in and the switch was on before you had water in it, you probably burnt the Thermal Fuse.

Not bypassed. Worked fine the first time out.

Switch not turned on until city water had been running for 15 minutes and all faucets opened and pressurized. Wasn't drained after first trip so shouldn't have been an issue. Can certainly check thermal fuse. Is that on fuse panel or somewhere on hot water heater? Thanks.

If there is water coming out of the hot side faucet and it's not hot it sounds like the dreaded check valve on the hot side of the water heater has failed. Seems to be a pretty common problem as it's plastic. Most replace it with a brass one and problem goes away.
