No Window on the World

I have a Jayco Swift SLX 184BH. Like the rest of the owners, I have no window in the doorway. I really would like to have the ability to see what's on the other side of the door before I open it and knock someone off the step. I figure it's probably to keep the weight down, but is there a part number for Jayco window that is commonly installed in the doors of other models.

Just wondering.

In 2013 they traded the door window for a front window for more light. Which is better? I like the front window but opinions vary.

by the way this comment only applies to the swift xls series

Would a door peephole work? Here's one that might be short enough for an RV door: http://www.peepholesecurity.com/miniview.htm. Note: I don't know anything about the company selling at this link.

My 184BH is 2014. I like the big windows it comes with in the front, but I also would like a door window. Probably just smokes to match the rest of the windows. I can always add some a vinyl etched design if I need more privacy. Does anyone know how to contact Jayco to see if I can order a factory 2012 door window from them?
