Opening Popout Beds

We are new to RV camping. Just bought a 2010 Jayco Feather 17z with 2 pop out beds on either end. is it required to unhitch our vehicle from the RV to use the pop out beds or can we keep it hitched?

You could use the rear bed without a problem but the front one is probably going to hit the bed of your truck.

Congratulations on joining Jayco! It will depend on the tow vehicle and how far the hitch ball extends from the rear, as well as how you are parked. My 2013 x17z hitch coupler is about equal to the edge of the open front bunk, I can open it with a few inches to spare when hooked up to my Jeep Grand Cherokee if parked straight and level.
