I'll ask them Friday when we pick it up and let you know.

I'm thinking about adding another fan in the kitchen vent and was going to attempt to get power wiring from the bathroom fan.

Thanks.
They just called and hooked into the nearest light , split it to get the power. They put in a Max fan I wish I had been specific about my choice of fans. I assumed they had the fantastic fan . They said they would have to order one if I wanted the fantastic fan I don't want to wait any longer. I'm too excited to get It It's been 2 weeks already.

That was my first thought, but the overhead lights are controlled by a wall switch so unless there's a constant positive lead up there that would mean the the fan would only run when the light switch is in the on position. We like to run the fan at night during cooler evenings, so if ours was like that we would have to turn the light switch on and then manually turn all the overhead lights off. Not ideal for our needs.

Won't be a big deal if you wanted the fan there to aid in ventilation while cooking since your lights would likely be turned on anyways.

I'll ask the dealership about it tomorrow while they're replacing our lights, maybe there's a constant hot leg up there somewhere.

Thanks for the info - the 'lights' that were on warranty or recall - the LED outside rope or is this an inside fix? we just ordered a '18 HB17RK and are already making a list of issues to pay attention to during delivery.

Did you have to weld this onto the frame? or did you bolt it to the bumper?
