Picking up new Jayfeather 28R

My wife and I will be picking up a new 28R from the local Jayco dealer in a week. We're coming over from the pop-up (jay series 1206) way of things for the usual reasons but I hope I don't miss the "tent feeling" too much! Is there anything we should be focused on at pick-up? Mcmonk's experience with the roof seam was an eye opener! We're still relatively new to camping besides overnighting on a sailboat which I've done plenty of.

LOL We know that feeling! We had to wait 6 weeks for ours to be built. The last couple of days were really exciting.... happy anxiety

Taking the ol' pop up out this weekend for the last time. Going to an eastern Pa nearly free site with sons, friends, hotdogs, kayaks and firewood. This is the good stuff guys, as we all know. Hope I don't miss it (the pop up) too much.

Picked up the Jayfeather 28r yesterday @ Fretz rv in Souderton, great dealer, good people. Camped in the yard with the family last night and in a word, wow. Happy anxiety indeed, and well worth it.
