Plumbing

I have a question regarding the hot water on my 2004 Jay Feather Sport 165. Can someone give me the basic version of how to fill the tank. I have opened the faucets and hooked up to the city water connection, but I cannot hear the tank fill up....am I missing something?

Thanks.

The water heater is probably set to by-pass... go inside the RV find where the water heater is remove the panel or open the door there .. you should see the hoses going to and from the water heater. there are probably 3 valves on them forming a H pattern close the center one and open the other 2 this will allow water to get into and out of the water heater... just remember in the fall to reverse the procedure for winterizing..

Thanks! The by pass valve is closed and the lower and upper lines are open. But I still can't hear any water filling the tank. Do the lines need to be pressurized from the DC pump as well?

Maybe it is already full? Open up the pressure relief valve at the water heater and you will know for sure.
