Plumbing Contractor quality
I waited four days to receive my replacement faucet assembly for our Jay Feather Sport 165. I found an exact replacement on E-Bay. The original froze in Phoenix, AZ. Hard to believe...
It was an enjoyable afternoon of fooling around with our little RV, parked in our drive way, with temperatures now in the mid 70's, installing the faucet.
Marilyn came out to inspect the job and said... YOU PUT IT IN BACKWARDS; kitchen faucets handles are supposed to be pulled forward, not pushed backwards.

DG, today it is raining in Phoenix and we moved here to learn to appreciate the rain. So I'll watch it rain; tomorrow I'll reinstall faucet.

Sometimes a do it yourself project turns into a trial and error project. Enjoy the rain it won't last long.

Well ya had a 50/50 chance of getting it right even without looking at it. Don`t try playing the lottery anytime soon with 1 in a mega million chance! That kind of stuff has happened to me before. One time I hooked up the hoses to my hydraulic steering in my boat. I thought I had it right and also had a 50/50 chance anyway and when I turned the steering wheel it turned the wrong way! I had to reverse the hoses much to my dismay.

Hey, I have the exact trailer, and I also have a red pickup.
Speaking of plumbing, did you happen to have any leaks in your pipes? I belive I have a leak because I'm seeing a little antifreeze on the floor beneath the sink where the pipes come down. Hopefully, the dealer can fix it easily. Hope you're enjoying your 165. I can't wait to go in April!

Ray, small world, eh?
Only leak I had was in faucet head in kitchen. I was lucky. Should have drained water and sure will next winter. Even in Phoenix we have freezing weather. Sometimes small leaks don't show for awhile; so we'll see...... I want to get out to Lake Pleasant, NW of Phoenix for a few days when it warms up more. I'll keep you posted.

At least if we do an "ooooopsa!" a sense of humor helps. Although DIY can be a PIA some times....it can be still be entertaining
