slide out roof

We have a 2014 31 dslb I was washing the roof and I noticed that on the slide out the rubber roof is not glued down good by the part of the roof that seals on the inside of the camper . I was wondering if anyone notice if there's is the same way. I am going to bring it to the dealer to have it check. I think it should be glued down better than it is

Can't hurt to have it looked at. If it is in warranty, it is good to have any problems documented by the dealer and get an opinion from Jayco.

I agree it look so sloppy it looks like they need to take more time when putting these trailer together. So on Monday I will tow it there and leave it if I have to. It looks like they will have to take the slide out and put a new roof on it

I had it the same with my 2012 white hawk and the they said it was normal. I would still show them and have it document it.

Same on my big slide. Actually slopes the roof away from the inside of the trailer and it's not bad enough to rub on the opening. When the slide is shut there is plenty of clearance. I though better to leave well enough alone. Based on some of my trips to the dealer, it's less risky to leave the slope there and shoot the water away from the trailer. But it depends on how bad yours is and how much you trust your dealer.

GilaCamper

I have a 2012 Jayco Whitehawk. The slide roof has become detached at the inboard side next to the RV wall. I have taken it to our dealer here, Camping World and they said it would cost $2500. to replace the roof on the slide. Insurance nor Good Sam extended warranty will cover the cost. Had I known it had this defect I certainly would have not made the purchase. Is there a known fix for this problem other than replacing the complete roof membrane??
