Use of tow vehicle inverter while towing

I have a 120v/100 watt outlet in the bed wall of my tow vehicle. It can be used while driving. If you have this setup, have you ever plugged your 2way fridge in while towing?

Why not just use the propane, it cools better since the stack gets hotter?

At the moment I'm having trouble with the fridge not staying lit on propane, hoping the valve just needs to be cleaned out. Plus it shouldn't be on when driving, tho I know that many do that. I was throwing the idea out there to see if anyone had ever tried hooking the fridge directly to the tow vehicle.

Since you didn't mention your tow vehicle and RV fridge models I'll give you a answer based on limited info.

Toyota truck?
"There are 2 modes for the bed outlet. 400w while parked, and 100w while driving. Anytime your car is in gear the inverter switches over to 100 watts."

Your 2 way fridge?
It could take around 350-450 watts or more depending on the make and model.

I'd say no.

I had a 3 way fridge on my popup. I tried running it off battery with the battery being charged by the truck during tow. It killed my battery and the fridge couldn't keep up. My fridge was way smaller than yours is.
