Water coming in from window drain

To our big surprise we found water all over the countertop and on top of our sofa in our 24RBS. The water seems to come from the drain at the bottom of the sliding window while driving in heavy rain.

Have you experienced that ? Is there any solution other that to block a few drain to minimize the mess ?

Hopefully it will be the last problem with water in our new (2014 ) travel trailer, we had water coming by the slide out, than after a leak from the water heater and now the window.....its getting old

Thanks for you input guys

I think the winds can drive the water into the weep holes. Mine did the same thing and the only conclusion I could come to was that. There must be some type of vacuum inside the TT as you're driving that pulls it into the holes. Just an assumption.

I have only had that happen once when I was camping in a storm and a strong persistent wind and rain was blowing right against the side of the trailer. I watched the water come through the weep holes on the bedroom window. I can see under the right conditions it also leaking when driving. Those holes are to let out the condensation that runs down the inside of your window.

My windows have a WEP HOLE in the bottom of the window slide unit. Check to see if you have such a thing and if so make sure it isn't filled in with debris...

One window have 6 weep hole the other 3, so ill plug a few on the side toward where the window slide to see if its going to do the work. I cant see enough condensation situation where I'll have all weep hope draining water at full volume

thnaks to all for your input
