Water pooling on the roof

I just bought a new jayflight slx 17 foot trailer and after first rain checked the roof and found a small puddle of water in the middle. It's it normal? Trailer is leveled, I thought the roof is supposed to be somewhat rounded to avoid water pooling. Is it the thing worthy a warranty claim or it's normal for jayco trailers? i think its not too uncommon for you to have some puddling on roof ... mine has some on the slide roofs that i have to brush off after a rain and before i put the slides in. When you have a roof without too much of any pitch even though rounded it can happen when there is just a small low spot. Hope this helps

Congratulations on the new Jayflight and welcome to the forum.

Hmmm... I have a Jayflight and have not noticed anything like that. But I've never checked the area near the front after a rain, only the rear area from the trailer's ladder.

Perhaps if you "level" it to where there is a slope to one side or front to back that would take care of it.
Standing water can't be a good thing.

That would be some extreme leveling, and I bet water will pool in some other places against vents and stuff, and water will run against a wall instead of dripping free from gutters

Our Feather pools at the two front corners when level. The "dips" are about 6"x3". Not sure what I can do about it. I may start storing it with a the front elevated since lowering the front does not drain them much. I will see if they drain better to the rear with the front elevated. Let us know what you determine about yours.
