What’s hidden under the shower/tub?

Our 2019 Jay Flight SLX8 248RBSW has a tub in the bathroom. The floor of the tub is at least 6 inches above the floor. Besides the 2 water hoses, what is in all that unused space? If there are no actual tub supports under there, I could use the extra storage behind the axles...

Dont know about yours. Mine has a ton of plumbing pipes and electrical cabling under it. As I recall there is some reinforcement for the floor, but not much.

I went out and looked under mine. I have a clear shot from the area where my water heater and pump are located. The tub is supported by 2x4s on end holding up a piece of plywood. I tried to take a pic on my phone but very poor. The 2x4 chunks are about 6 inches tall. They looked about 18 inches apart or so and my tub had only 4 of them. Also under there was a water pipe to the toilet and the drain. The rest of the space was clear but I don't see any practical way to access the area or what I could put in it.

I believe they raise it 6" so they can keep the trap in the heated area of the coach, to help keep it from freezing, versus sticking down inside one of the compartments.

This sounds like a real thing. I look around this TT and see many signs that Jayco really, really, does not like punching big holes through the floor. The space under the tub would allow a P trap, as well as a T fitting to include the basin drain before plumbing the grey water to its tank.

I have a shower, not a tub, and mine is up 6" too. When I pull off the access panel, what do I see, the trap, and some water lines and wiring....

jayco 161,, has a little slide up panel to access in bathroom for tub, lots of bracing and tubes in there, I have used mine to hide valuables, when out hiking biking, etc. edit:, I also have other factory slide up panels to access under fridge, and kitchen area.
