What sealant is it?

I noticed on my Skylark camper that Jayco used a white sealant that is really tough and stays rubbery. There seem to be two types, one that is used around roof vents and such and the other is used around windows and trim pieces. What is this sealant and where can you buy it? It isn't like the silicone or latex sealants you use around the house.

I think you are talking about Butyl tape. Its sold at most RV supply and repair places.

If you're referring to on the roof, more than likely Dicor 501 or 502. Same product really with 2 different numbers. On the sidewalls, pretty much your choice on what you want to go back with. My preference and many others is the Geocel Proflex. Very flexible through hot and cold seasons and sticks to pretty much anything (just can't use it on the roof). Most can be found at any RV place and there are several online suppliers.
