What to expect to pay for X213

I was at the RV show in calgary and put a hold deposit ... they were selling it for 21990 from 25000 MSRP. How low do you think I could go price wise?

Mine stickered at $26,499 and got it for $20,400 plus taxes. We got $2500 for our old tent trailer so it was $22,900 before the trade in. You could try another grand off....but these trailers are quite popular and depending of how many they have in stock and how fast they want to move them.

I have always been told never pay more than 75% of MSRP. $18,750 would be max for me. I would even offer less and stop at the 18,750 price.

When we was looking we also fell in love with the JAYCO X213. This one is perfect for the two of us and one dog and I had big plans to add a ham radio/computer/office desk in the front bunk room. We was looking real good in the late 2011 period. Found the used one from 2009 models up where just as nice as the new ones. Great prices on them as well... Back then the only wear and tear was around the large slide out rear bed assy. They seem to slope down in the rear after being used alot and need to have adjustments required to bring them back up level again. Some older units would do damage to the top of the seats around the couch and table seats setups inside. Once re-leveled again all was great. Just something to watch for in the older units. Thats all probably fixed now with the newer ones. They sure have held up popularity over the years. Look great being pulled by the F150 size trucks.
We ended up not ever getting one but if I did that would be the one for sure...

this was my X213 bunk bed room interior change-out idea

I haven't looked at the 2013 X213 models but I bet the design layout is the same from 2010-up. I liked the large side windows on the bed slide which started with the 2010 models. This allowed for a better setup for me for cross air flow around the bed. The 2009 models and back had only one large window at the end of the trailer.

Now you done it - got me looking at X213s again...

From what I`ve read on these forums over the years prices are somewhat higher in Canada then the US. So getting the same discount to MSRP may not be as easy there.

If you are happy who cares what you paid! There will always be lots of people telling you what you should have paid, how you got screwed, or what a great deal they got...but reality is if you like the deal, that is all that counts. Money doesn't create memories...actions do.

I am settled at the number and came to the conclusion that one can go around and get all sorts of prices, grind the hell out of the salesperson, etc and it becomes an uncomfortable experience. Thanks for all those who responded.
Went to test drive it today and it will work for us.

Congrats, we love ours and I am sure you will love yours.......I already installed a Maxair II vent cover, purchased a Alco trailer cover, put down 3 carpet runners ( keeps the tootsies warmer and the trailer a little cleaner ), water regulator, tire change ramp and a X chock to block the wheels. I also carry blocks of wood to help level the trailer.....see? I am helping you spend all the money that you saving already....lol

We have a 2010 X213 and bought it used for $12000. It came with dual 6V batteries, solar system and dual larger propane tanks. We love ours.
