WhiteHawk Glacier Package?

I was on the Jayco website building what i hope to be my new unit and Glacier Package was available. Does anyone know what this is for the $179 price tag?

I googled it and it got a link to Jayco Eagle HT Construction, lists the Glacier package as extra insulation, sealed bottom and triple insulated tanks as well as some other heat related items.

Do you know or think that would be the same for the light weight units as well?

I came across the same question so I asked Jayco, this was their response.

Thank you for your e-mail and for your interest in a White Hawk by Jayco.

For this option the floor will have a layer of bubble foil insulation added for a total R value of R22. The roof will have increased insulation for a total R value of R26. The front wall, sidewalls and rear wall will remain the same.

Without it they are R8 in the ceiling, R5 in the walls and R7 in the floor

Looks like you got your answer from glcamp, I assumed it would be a bit different in an ultra lite. Gotta love your fellow Jaycoowners... a wealth of knowledge.

Thanks for the replies. Now i am in another delemma i just noticed a Jay Flight 28 BHBE when i was ready to get the Whitehawn 28DSBH now i have another project to research. I wish i could find a local dealer with both units side by side but he closest i found is half way across the country. So does anyone have any thoughts on these 2 units keeping in mind i could haul either of them without any issue. Thanks

It's heavier, longer, and taller. Aluminum skin vs. fiberglass. More options available including the bike rack that I wish we could get.

We seen both units at our local dealer, the 28BHBE won hands down, the dinette is a wrap around and slides out so you can have some extra room and the shower is huge as compared to the 28DSBH, the bedroom has a door not a curtain, there is a place to put your alarm clock in the bedroom, there is a ladder for the upper bunk, there is a couple hooks by the front door to hang a coat or two, there is a bench under the coat hooks with storage, under the TV there is a place to put your shoes out of the way, we ordered our 28BHBE in the middle of December and will be signing the paperwork this saturday, I have numerous photos of the interior if you are looking for some more

I wish my truck were able to pull it. Too heavy for us, everything sounds great except I like the fiberglass look vs. the aluminum.
