Whitehorse and back - 6000+ km with 197

My wife and I just got back from a trip to Whitehorse, YT. We spent two weeks on the road. Pulled the 197 with our old 1997 Suburban. Had a really good trip. Didn't get up until we were good and ready, didn't hit the road until we were good and ready. Sort of boondocked all but three nights. Roads were good, weather was good.

Followed a self-propelled motorhome that the front step kept coming out and going back in. I couldn't catch him to warn him. Hope it got found out before he ripped the step off. There was a couple of places where there was highway construction and having to cross a very narrow bridge being upgraded. Wouldn't have been good for him.
