Started towing our WhiteHawk 30DSQB with a 2011 Chevy Avalanche....was right on the max numbers within about 400 lbs....it would do it but I did trade for a 2014 Chevy 2500HD after 3 months...feeling much better and safer going down the highway....don't feel like I'm being pushed with the 3/4 ton.

I tow my 28DSBH with a 2012 F150 with absolutely no issues. I did upgrade my hitch after one very short trip from a Draw Tite to a Husky Centerline which made a huge difference on how it towed. Completed an 8400 km trip to the East Coast this summer and can honestly say I was very happy with how it towed. No sway, no pushing or bouncing and no white knuckles. Just make sure you buy a good hitch with WD and anti sway.

Pull my 29REKS with a Tundra with absolutely no issues, though I did add a Roadmaster Active Suspension to help with the bouncing. As others have said, a good hitch is the key.

you won't go wrong with the Equalizer... I have it on my maxed out Rav4 and I drive with one hand no worries.

ID:	15225op, I tow with the same combination. No issues. But I did add a WDH after I took the pic. I also added the Timbrens to my truck axle. Never sags.

My 2014 WH 30DSRE towed fine with our 1/2 ton Silverado [08], smooth plenty of torque and no sway. Only thing I noted different from our older smaller TT was the tranny temp went to around 225 or 230. GM dealer said that was not a problem but it worried me long term. Since upgraded to a 2010 3/4 ton with Duramax. The new rig is truely the real deal. No issues and you forget the WH is back there. Pulled to the Gulf last winter and returned in ice and snow. Real sketchy conditions for last 250 miles but absolutely zero sway which is important on icy snowy roads.

Hi Mike,

I tow a 30DSRE with a 2012 RAM Laramie 1500. I put air bags on the rear which stiffens up the coils and I use an Andersen hitch which eliminates the sway completely. I only travel with my wife in the truck and no other payload, I know I'm right on the limit for this vehicle as far as GVWR. We also only take what we need in the trailer about 500 lbs of cargo, no water. I have an Andersen hitch and must say that initially it was a little "loose" feeling until I dialed in the hitch settings and now you wouldn't even know you were towing except for the gas consumption. The RAM has tons of power, hauls the trailer like nothing and has great braking but I would think twice about taking this combo through the Rockies. Take your Ram loaded as if you were going camping with a full tank of gas and the cargo/passengers you plan to take camping and go to the scales....that will tell you what payload you have left.
Regards,
Ron
