X23B Modifications and Enhancements

We made some small modifications and enhancements to our X23B this weekend.

1) We removed the large drawer underneath the dinette expanding the front underneath storage by two fold. Built a small wooden box to isolate the electrical wiring that could get in the way or entangled when storing items.

2) Added 3 x 120V electric outlets in addition to the 3 (I believe) that came with the rig. One by the bed side near the dinette, one on the left side of the sofa, and one on the wall between the sink and stove for our Keurig & other Kitchen accessories.

3) Built a two-tiered shelf above the stereo deck allowing to charge phones and wire a digital video player to the TV. This includes an additional 120V and 12V electric outlets.

Photos are attached...

P.S. We have owned the rig for about a month and will be going on our 3rd and 4th trips this month. We can't wait!

Very nice, very similar to the mods I have made, I did move the electrical cord to be within the water heater compartment. I also added metal shelves to one of the wardrobe cabinets.

I like the color of your lawn, what to switch , Happy Camping

That one outlet by your sink/stove should be a GFCI unless you have an interrupter somewhere previously up that circuit.

First thing I did was take out the drawer and make additional storage works well. Like the idea above the stereo deck I mat take that on also.

His original post was more than 2 years ago.
You might want to send him a PM if he's still visiting the forum.

Mods

Where did you pull the 120Volt line for the three additional plugs?
